Safety On Roads Workshops

Recent class held at the Packaging Corporation of America, PCA Woodlands office in Counce, with 23 drivers attending.

In an effort to emphasize safety on our roads and highways, TFA is working with local wood products industries to host log truck driver safety classes. Instructional materials are provided for log truck drivers and owners on laws and skills related to driving. The general public takes notice of log trucks traveling on our roads, and these classes are designed to enhance both the safety and professionalism of our drivers. There is no charge to the loggers, drivers or to industry to hold these classes. Expenses related to the training and classes are covered by a generous grant from the TN Dept. of Agriculture. For more information, please contact the TFA staff.

Visit TFA’s calendar for current workshop dates.
