Theme: Herbicides & Oak Regeneration
TN Healthy Hardwood Field Days
Hosted by the University of Tennessee in partnership with the Tennessee Forestry Association and TN Dept of Agriculture-Division of Forestry, the Tennessee Healthy Hardwoods Field Days are free educational events designed for forest landowners, foresters, and anyone interested in sustainable woodland management. These field days provide hands-on learning in real forest settings, with expert-led sessions on topics such as oak regeneration, timber markets, cost-share opportunities, herbicide use, and emerging issues like carbon markets. By connecting research with practical demonstrations, the program equips participants with the knowledge and tools needed to promote healthy, productive hardwood forests across Tennessee.
