Tennessee Hardwood Industry Calls for Equal Aid as Tariffs Continue to Impact Rural Communities
Thirty-seven Tennessee hardwood businesses joined more than 400 companies nationwide in signing a letter urging the White House to include the U.S. hardwood sector in federal tariff relief programs. The coalition warns that ongoing export losses, rising costs, and mill closures are threatening rural jobs and communities across Tennessee.
