Your Help is Needed Regarding the EUDR Status

The National Alliance for Forest Owners (NAFO), the Hardwood Federation and other groups have reached out to TFA to ask our members to sign the letter to President Trump. This letter urges his administration to seek improvements to the EUDR in forthcoming discussions with the European Union (EU). 

This letter is both important and timely. The EU Parliament recently approved the U.S.-EU trade deal, which includes a provision on bilateral U.S.-EU discussions on the EUDR. The U.S. Ambassador to the EU, Andrew Puzder, recently published an op-ed calling for fundamental EUDR reform. This is our opportunity to convey our support for removing the unnecessary burdens the EUDR will place on the U.S. forestry supply chain.
