Bridge & Pallet Mat Incentive Program

The Tennessee Forestry Foundation (TFF) is proud to offer conservation incentive funding to assist commercial logging operations in protecting Tennessee’s water resources. Funding is available for the purchase of:

    • Pallet Mats are normally made of 8/4 oak with a width of 10 feet and lengths from 12-16 feet. Mats are bolted together with 5-inch bolts and have a cable attached for ease of lifting with logging equipment.

    • Reimbursed at $450.00 per mat.

    • Annual limit of 33 mats per business.

    • Includes rock/gravel, geotextile soil protection fabric, silt fencing, erosion eels, stabilization grids, wattles, hay bales, and associated supplies.

    • Reimbursed at 75% of the purchase amount with an annual maximum of $14,850 per business.

    • Reimbursed at $9,500 per panel with an annual maximum of 2 panels per business.

    • Must be fabricated utilizing the engineer approved specifications from TFF.

    • Reimbursement limits: Each year, applicants may mix and match qualifying items for reimbursement, not to exceed $14,850 total. However, if purchasing two bridge panels, the annual reimbursement limit increases to $19,000.

    • Before purchasing: Applicants must complete the online application (see below).

  • 1. Apply online

    Submit the application for approval prior to any purchase.

  • 2. After you've been approved

    Submit your invoice, proof of payment (cancelled check, credit card receipt or Paid in Full invoice), at least 1 photo of purchased item(s).

  • 3. Wait for reimbursement

    TFF will process payments once all required documentation is received.
